                    The abortion debate, a burning issue piercing through modern society, appears on the surface to be a clash of secular values: human rights, public health, and a woman’s right to self-determination. However, when we face the spiritual reality flowing beneath, we realize this is not merely a matter of policy choice. It is a meticulous spiritual war waged by Satan, directly challenging God’s created order.

                    Satan knows well that he can never defeat the Almighty God directly. Therefore, he chooses to destroy the most vulnerable and pure lives within the womb—human beings created in the image of God and the objects of His greatest love. By attacking the fetus, the very origin of life, Satan aims to inflict an indelible wound upon the heart of God the Father and shroud this earth in a culture of death rather than life, seeking his ultimate goal of theological confusion.

                    In this spiritual context, abortion functions as a kind of “sacrament” devised by Satan, transcending a mere medical procedure. While the Holy Communion of Christianity is an ordinance proclaiming the infinite sacrifice and love of Christ through the message, “I die so that you may live,” the diabolical ritual of abortion is based on extreme self-worship: “I kill you so that I may live.”

                    Particularly noteworthy is the core logic sustaining the abortion industry: the declaration, “This is my body.” Surprisingly, these words are identical to those spoken by our Lord Jesus at the Last Supper to complete the ministry of human redemption, which had been planned since before the Lord's coming. However, while Christ’s “body” was a sacrificial body to be broken for humanity, the “body” proclaimed by abortion advocates is a blasphemous declaration claiming the power to extinguish another’s life for one's own convenience and rights. Satan is thus misappropriating the holiest of words as a tool of deception to justify the most horrific of sins.

                    Furthermore, we must note that God chose a woman’s “womb” as the channel for the Incarnation to save humanity from sin. Christ, who came in the form of the frailest fetus, sanctified the womb as a holy sanctuary where life is conceived and protected.

                    Yet, today’s secular progressivism seeks to transform this sanctuary into a site of slaughter, using deceptive terms like “reproductive healthcare” or “gender-affirming care.” It is no coincidence that Planned Parenthood, the world's largest abortion provider, is also a leading supplier of transgender hormones. The destruction of life in the womb and the mutilation of the body outside the womb are both sacrifices offered before the idol of “bodily autonomy.” This is ultimately a modern variation of the ancient temptation whispered by the serpent in Genesis 3: “You will be like God.” The arrogance of humans attempting to usurp God’s place as the sovereign over life and death is being manifested through the act of abortion.

                    Ultimately, all fundamental conflicts faced by humanity culminate in theological issues. The fact that the arguments for abortion craftily quote and twist the words of our Lord Jesus vividly demonstrates how fierce this spiritual war is. Just as Christ personally broke His body to give us life, believers must now resolutely reject this culture of death that has become a tool of Satan. Protecting the smallest life in the womb is not merely a moral choice; it is a noble spiritual mission to proclaim that the sovereignty of life belongs solely to God and to reclaim the holiness of creation from Satan’s deception. We must strip away Satan’s deceit hidden behind the mask of language and lead the way in restoring the true value of life.
